California Dreaming with Carats & Cake
Here on the East Coast, we often look to the other side for inspiration. West Coast weddings have a particular vibe: soft colors, outdoor settings (thanks to their perpetually perfect weather!), bohemian brides. We looked to one of our favorite websites, Carats & Cake, and picked out a few of the California weddings that dreams are made of.
Elizabeth & Eric, Palm Springs
With California’s majestic mountains, palm trees, and lush greenery providing the backdrop, this ceremony is everything a traditional Cali wedding should be. We love the touches of Hollywood-style glamour that offset the natural beauty of the location.

We love the bold, dramatic colors of Indian weddings, and this celebration in Half Moon Bay is no exception. Double points for BOTH of the bride’s hot pink dresses, with flowers to match!

This desert-chic wedding has the soft colors and stunning outdoor settings that we would expect from a ceremony and reception held on a picturesque California vineyard. Wedding wine is definitely better when you’re toasting on the land where the grapes were grown.
