Marianna & Peter Celebrate Saying “I do” With A Glamorous Black Tie Reception

The vows have been exchanged and now it’s time for the newlyweds to celebrate their life together! Marianna & Peter didn’t miss a beat welcoming guests to their glamorous reception. Décor reflected the couple’s classic black tie style. But the party mood was full of energetic excitement with everyone toasting the couple and dancing well into the night! In today’s post, we present the final chapter in Marianna and Peter’s wedding story.

 

Part 4: Reception Décor, Card Table, and Sweetheart Table

After Marianna & Peter’s ceremony, guests were greeted wth a card table that expressed Marianna’s taste for simple elegance with a contemporary twist. The gorgeous display presented round clusters of deep red freedom, Baccara roses, and burgundy dahlias placed at an angle in tall cylinder glass vases. The light of pillar and votive candles showed off the blooms’ exquisite detail and colors to beautiful effect.

 

Guests headed to the reception where they were met with a breathtaking atmosphere highlighted with dramatic shades of red and burgundy. “Marianna came with a detailed vision in mind and had her heart set on infusing romantic tones of red with classically elegant crystal candelabras,” recalls Bride & Blossom Founder Rachel Trimarco. Translating the bride’s vision, the tablescape featured stunning centerpieces laid out in two different styles. Some tables were adorned with a trio of low centerpieces featuring lush black magic roses, freedom roses, and red Baccara roses illuminated by graceful crystal candelabras. Others were topped with a trio of low arrangements of black magic roses, red garden roses, and burgundy calla lilies complemented by glowing votives.

 

 

As guests took their seats, the newlyweds took their rightful place at the sweetheart table. Their love was honored with striking, vivid hued blooms. Lovely clustered arrangements featured hot pink Phalaenopsis orchids, mini black calla lilies, black magic roses, Clooney black ranunculus, burgundy dahlias, and purple cool water roses. Looking every bit like a modern day queen and king, Marianna and Peter glowed with happiness as the wedding speeches were read.

 

 

The bride made sure to incorporate her magnificent chuppah into the post-ceremony festivities. “I love how the chuppah was used throughout the reception. We raised it to cover the cake to create this beautiful focal point.” Talk about a sweet spectacle! Marianna’s 6-tier masterpiece set under the floating canopy of flowers transformed the traditional cake table into a work of art!

 

We love that Marianna didn’t let her gorgeous Vera Wang gown hold her back from hitting the dance floor. “I requested mostly dance songs because I wanted everyone up and dancing the entire evening,” she recalls. DJ Gio provided the tunes and judging from the reception photos, guests followed the bride’s lead and partied the night away.

 

 

 

We asked Marianna if she had any favorite moments from her wedding day. “I’ll always cherish cutting the challah with my grandfather. Our first dance as husband and wife felt magical. And I loved finally getting to cut the cake. We both had so much fun!”
