Featured Bride Ashley On Her Fashion-Forward Bridal Suit By Jean-Ralph Thurin

 

If there’s one time in your life to wear something that reflects the truest you, it’s when you get married. And not everyone dreams of wearing a long, flowing wedding dress down the aisle. Just ask our featured bride Ashley. Here, she talks about her stunning Jean-Ralph Thurin ensemble and the personal touches that she incorporated into the big day.

Part 2: Wedding Ensemble & Personals

When asked about how she chose her wedding day attire, Ashley begins, “I knew that I didn’t want to wear a dress.” Today, just about every top designer includes a few alternative options for the fashion-forward bride. She continues, “But I couldn’t find anything in the local boutiques. Then I came across the designer Jean-Ralph Thurin and made an appointment at his shop in Somerville, New Jersey.” During their meeting, Ashley detailed what she had in mind and the designer sketched it right on the spot.

 

 

Her vision was fashioned into a glamorous custom wedding suit featuring an exquisite lace top with long sleeves and an open neckline. Ashley’s ultra-chic bridal ensemble was completed with sleek pants, a crystal adorned belt, and train that extended from the waist to the floor, adding just a hint of drama. She accessorized with gorgeous Badgley Mischka shoes featuring dazzling crystal embellishments on the heel.

 

 

 

With a look so strikingly bold, the bride opted for jewelry that was simple yet full of meaning. “I wore a necklace with Tiffany’s name plate and earrings that I have had for years,” Ashley said.

In choosing her florals, Ashley worked with Bride & Blossom to create an arrangement that was romantic with a modern twist. Her bouquet featured white and blush hued garden roses, kiera roses, and café au lait dahlias tied together with ivory satin ribbon. “My flowers looked amazing from start to finish. And they were still stunning the next morning!” Ashley exclaimed. Her bridal party looked radiant in deep blue gowns from David’s Bridal.

 

 

 

At this point, we have to mention how stylish Tiffany looked during the celebration. Laughing, Ashley recalls, “Tiffany really let me have creative control over everything. The only thing she had complete say in was her suit. And she looked immaculate!” Tiffany wore a custom Indochino suit with paisley fabric lining and the couple’s wedding date sewn on the inner pocket.
