BB Behind The Scenes: Types of Wedding Flower Vases

 

What’s that? You don’t have Pinterest board devoted to wedding flower vases? Not to worry, you are certainly not alone. From finding a venue and dress to narrowing down a color scheme and décor style, most people haven’t had a second to consider which type of vessel will hold their wedding flowers.

When we first meet with clients in the Bride & Blossom showroom, one of the topics we go over is vases. For this BB Behind the Scenes installment, Rachel walks us through the assortment of choices available, ranging from tall and elegant vases to low pedestals to mirrored cube holders. Tall Glass Vases
A tall glass vase may be the most obvious choice for a jaw-dropping tablescape, but when it comes to style and shape, the possibilities are endless. A statuesque pilsner vase shows off a robust, garden inspired arrangement beautifully. Slightly slimmer, the trumpet vase accentuates the perfection of lush, rounded white blooms. Displaying cherry blossoms branches in a wide mouth clarinet vase allows for the florals to take on a stunning, spray-like silhouette.

 

 

 

 

Mercury Glass Vases
Offered in any style and metallic hue (silver, gold, rose gold, and copper), mercury glass vessels bring a graceful vintage touch to wedding decor. A trio of gilded mercury pedestal vases displaying white and ivory florals encapsulate elegant romance. Used with organic decor, the same vase draws attention to the flourishing details of blush colored roses and greenery. Radiating texture and movement, a tall shimmering vase topped with voluminous hydrangea, lisianthus, stock, and roses with verdant greenery lures the eye in. Mirror Vases
Mirrored geometric vases pair well with clean and modern decor. A long table decorated with crisp white roses in beveled, mirrored rectangular vases epitomizes luxe minimalism. A trio of arrangements in mirrored square vases warmed by pillar candles creates a look of contemporary romanticism.
