The birds are chirping. The trees are budding. Dawn breaks with a misty air all around. With these first signs of spring comes the start of our busiest wedding season. We work with our couples to make their special day as personal and unique as possible. Still, there are trends that dominate our clients’ Pinterest boards and saved Instagram images when they come in to meet with us. A few in particular have caught the eye of the Bride & Blossom team. What is so exciting about the trends we are about to discuss is that they are beautiful and captivating while feeling timeless. Here are Bride & Blossom’s top wedding decor ideas for Spring 2020.

Shades of ‘Classic Blue’
Spring is the perfect season to incorporate Pantone’s 2020 color of the year ‘classic blue.’ The rich hue may be a bit too dark for arrangements, but looks beautiful in linens, place settings (blue and white china!), ribbons, bridesmaids dresses, and of course, ‘something blue.” For florals, consider lighter shades such as eggshell, cornflower, blue-gray, and blue-lavender. – Téa Mady, Creative Editor

Earth Tones + Organic Elements
We are seeing a continuance of greenery and organic inspired decor, especially in outdoor ceremonies and settings. A new trend that will be incorporated into many of our upcoming weddings are earth toned florals and dried grasses. Pampas grass was in high demand last year and has been a major element featured on several of our design boards. We love the whimsical and romantic feel and how it brings texture and dimension to arrangements. – Rachel Trimarco, Founder & CEO

Return to Garden Romance
I love the dramatic jewel tones of fall and winter, but can’t wait to see romantic garden inspired decor with pale shades of dusty pink, mauve, soft lavender, and ivory. These colors go beautifully with gold accents, which can be incorporated with a low pedestal vase, embellished chargers, and candle holders. Play up the vintage aesthetic by adding pretty colored glassware and light gauzy linens and ribbon. – Kate Murphy, Social Media & Blog Editor
