“Joy in looking and comprehending is nature’s most beautiful gift.” – Albert Einstein
April showers do bring May flowers, vacation planning and rsvp-ing to wedding invites. Whether traveling abroad or doing a road trip, don’t forget to stop along the way and appreciate/smell nature’s unique trees and flowers. When you return, you’ll impress your friends and loved ones with your vast knowledge on horticulture, or just plant life outside of New York.
The peak bloom dates are April 3 through 6. Can you believe the cherry blossoms draw over 1 million visitors to our nations capital each year?
We love using cherry blossoms for our wedding arrangements. They add such a beautiful vintage/ethereal look for the spring.

This just in… One of the coolest chuppah structures we have ever seen! It was from a wedding at the New York Public Library. It’s made of books and hanging light bulbs from the center. We can’t imagine how much time was spent on creating this. Hopefully the books were recycled!
Photos were taken by Dave Robbins Photography. Check out these fantastic pictures.
Many of the news stations and media outlets are still buzzing about the Oscars, what designers the stars wore, and Michelle Obama’s guest appearance. We starting thinking of how this will influence the wedding trends this year. Glitz and glamour with a hint of playfulness comes to mind! We really liked some of these designs.
