Alternative Bachelorette Ideas for NYC Brides
Your bachelorette party can be the perfect chance for a wild night of drinks and debauchery, but maybe you want to spend some more intimate time with your closest friends, sharing a unique experience you might not otherwise get to do together. Here are a handful of ideas for NYC bachelorette spaces to inspire you and your leading ladies.
Spa Day
Where better to unwind with your best friends than at the spa, getting pampered from head to toe and relaxing all your wedding worries. One of our favorite venues, Le Parker Meridien in Hell’s Kitchen, features an entire floor devoted to rejuvenation and relaxation, including a dry bar, manicures/pedicures, full-service lash and brow and to top it all off, the gorgeous speakeasy-style Moonshine Spa for luxurious massages and facials.
Wine Tasting
A private wine-tasting is the perfect way to give a hearty toast to your upcoming marriage while keeping things intimate and festive for you and your girlfriends. If a trip is in the cards and the season is right, it’s hard to resist the sprawling green orchards of the Hamptons and North Fork. But if not, the city is full of beautiful wine venues happy to cater to private events, such as Brooklyn Winery in Williamsburg (pictured above).
Customized Perfume Workshop
Perfumer Julia Zangrilli, founder of the hip fragrance company NOVA, offers private groups the chance to be matched with a custom scent, based on up to a dozen “notes” and tailored to each individual. Enjoy an exciting array of delicious scents, then send your girls home with a one-of-a-kind gift.
