End Of 2018 Celebrity Weddings – All The Details
Starting with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, 2018 was an unforgettable year for celebrity weddings. We’re still swooning over the famous brides who walked the aisle over these past few months. Wearing glamorous designer gowns, sparkling jewelry, and perfect makeup, the leading ladies stole the show. From an intimate backyard affair to a star-studded, spectacular celebration, these weddings displayed inimitable style, romance, and sentiment, capturing everyone’s attention.
Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas
We knew Priyanka Chopra’s wedding to Nick Jonas was going to special, but nothing could have prepared us for the lavish, multi-day festivities that took place. To express the joining of their two cultures, the couple celebrated with two ceremonies, both held at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India. Two weddings means two gowns and the bride dressed to impress. For the Western ceremony, Priyanka stunned in a custom Ralph Lauren gown featuring shimmery pearls, crystals, and sequins complemented by a show-stopping 75-foot long veil! For the Hindu nuptials, she wore a mesmerizing crimson lehenga by Indian designer Sabyasachi. The traditional ensemble was made of hand-cut organza flowers, red crystals, and French knots in silk floss.

Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth
The marriage rumors swirling around Miley Cyrus and long-time boyfriend Liam Hemsworth were finally put to rest when photos from the couple’s low-key holiday wedding started surfacing on social media. Originally planning to get married at their home in Malibu, they moved the location to Tennessee after losing their house to the devastating California fires. Miley wore a simple, off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown made of ivory silk satin. Décor was romantic and joyful and included beautiful florals and a whimsical balloon archway (Miley’s soon-to-be sister-in-law Stella McBride posted a nice photo).

Mandy Moore & Taylor Goldsmith
Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith’s private backyard ceremony is what wedding dreams are made of. The blushing bride donned a pretty pink wedding dress by Rodarte featuring a tulle-layered skirt and exquisite floral embellishment at the waist. She accessorized with a pink tulle veil and garden inspired bouquet. Décor encapsulated bohemian romance. An aisle made of patterned rugs lined with pampas grass and soft hued florals led the way to an ethereal wedding arch of dried baby’s breath and gypsophila.

Karlie Kloss & Joshua Kushner
Supermodel and entrepreneur Karlie Kloss and long-time beau Joshua Kushner said “I Do” in October. Little is known about the Jewish ceremony other than it was intimately romantic and took place in Upstate New York. We know more about the bride’s wedding day ensemble and to say she looked breathtaking would be a huge understatement! Karlie wore a custom Dior gown featuring a timeless silhouette with a full-length skirt and delicate lace V-neckline. She finished her classic look with a cathedral length veil and petite white floral bouquet.

Princess Eugenie & Jack Brooksbank
While Meghan Markle may have been 2018’s most anticipated royal bride, Princess Eugenie certainly held court when she married Jack Brooksbank in October. The couple exchanged vows in a morning ceremony at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Making a very personal statement with attire, Princess Eugenie wore an ivory, long-sleeve ‘open back’ gown with flowing skirt and train by Peter Pilotto of Christopher de Vos. The royal bride chose to forego the traditional veil so that the scar from her childhood scoliosis operation could be seen. Her “something borrowed” was a bejeweled tiara from her grandmother, the Queen, which dazzled with diamonds and emeralds. A beautiful bouquet of Lily of the Valley, Stephanotis pips, baby blue thistles (her something blue), white spray roses, trailing ivory, and sprigs of myrtle completed her modern day princess look.
It’s always interesting to see how a wedding plays out when fame and fortune are involved. Access to couture designers, grand venues, and expensive heirloom jewels aside, these brides made their special day an expression of their unique style, personality, and love. Simply put, 2018 was a fascinating year for celebrity weddings right up to the very end.
