Gorgeous Decor Ideas With June Wedding Flowers
We can’t believe it’s almost June already! This time of year is particularly exciting for us at Bride & Blossom. Sure, the days are sun-filled and longer. And for whatever reason, a cocktail with lunch seems more acceptable. But, this is also the start of wedding season. After spending months working on designs with our clients, we finally get to see their floral fantasies come to life! Some of our favorite blooms are having their moment right now such as the ranunculus, Gerbera daisy, calla lilly, dendrobium orchid, and Phalaenopsis orchid. From bouquets and boutonnieres to centerpieces and sweetheart tables, here are gorgeous decor ideas for June wedding flowers.
Ranunculus
With its delicate, paper-like petals and vast color palette, the ranunculus flower adds beauty and texture to wedding blooms. A bridal bouquet featuring petite white ranunculuses paired with white garden and Tibet roses casts a look of elegant romance. A low centerpiece of blush ranunculuses, white roses, and greenery accents evokes a romantic English garden ambiance that we love. Make the men in your wedding stand out by accessorizing their formal attire with a crisp white ranunculus boutonniere.
Phalaenopsis Orchid
The Phalaenopsiss orchid is a remarkably versatile wedding flower. Depending on the wedding theme, it can be styled to look opulent, exotic, classic, or modern. Make a statement walking down the aisle by carrying a stunning bouquet featuring lavender and ivory roses and cascading Phalaenopsis orchids. A centerpiece that puts focus on the bloom’s unique form epitomizes minimalist sophistication. For a lush, organic feel, adorn your sweetheart table with violet Phalaenopsis orchids, ivory and blush roses and peonies, and silver dollar eucalyptus.
Dendrobium Orchid
Resembling “moth wings,” the dendrobium orchid is graceful and stylish, yet adds a touch of whimsical moment to wedding florals. Give the classic white flower bouquet a makeover by arranging the bloom to show off its gorgeous texture and height. For a sleek contemporary look at your reception, display centerpieces that feature dendrobium orchids submerged in tall cylinder vases topped with floating candles. An all white chuppah featuring the flower paired with Phalaenopsis orchids and hydrangea creates a showstopping backdrop for saying “I do.”
Gerbera Daisy
No other flower captures early summer’s bright and cheerful side like the gerbera daisy. Layered with petals and available in a spectrum of shades, it’s the perfect flower for a June wedding. Pair coral gerbera daisies with cream and lavender hued roses and peonies to create a pretty bouquet that pops with color and texture. A mason jar centerpiece featuring blush gerberas with wine and pink roses and delphiniums adds a note of rustic charm to the tablescape. A boutonniere fashioned with a hot pink gerbera daisy, yellow mimosas, and lily grass looks dapper against a navy suit.
Calla Lily
Regarded for their exquisite trumpet-like shape, calla lilies can be used in any aspect of wedding floral decor. A bouquet featuring bright orange calla lillies with roses, peonies, tulips, and mokara orchids in hues of hot pink, white, fucshia, peach, and white complemented by greenery accents evokes a lush, tropical vibe. For a memorable walk down the aisle, adorn chairs with sophisticated arrangements of white calla lilies tied with satin ribbon. Set a tone of dramatic elegance at the reception by adorning tables with all white high centerpieces that bring together towering calla lily stems with voluminous Phalaenopsis orchids.
The couple planning a June wedding has much to be happy about. Summer is now in full swing, which means there are a bevy of gorgeous seasonal blooms available to help you celebrate the big day!
