Gorgeous Glen Cove Mansion Wedding
Summer pastels, under sunny Long Island skies, made this Glen Cove Mansion wedding a stunner. Christa and Bruno are head over heels in love and it shows. We’re obsessed with Lydia Campbell’s photos of this once in a lifetime day! Enjoy all the sweet moments of pure joy and the most perfect wedding weather. Here are all the details on the romantic, midsummer bouquets and floral decor we created for this sweet couple’s ceremony and reception.
Christa’s classic color palette, of blush, pink, cream and ivory, flattered her blue-eyed, platinum-blonde beauty. An elegant, hand-tied, bridal bouquet of ivory Vendela roses looked chic against her white dress. We embellished a satin-ribbon bouquet wrap with a lace overlay and a straight line of pearls. Bruno’s boutonniere was a single, flawless, ivory rose.
Bridesmaid bouquets were composed of blush and light-pink roses and chablis spray roses. Light pink and blush rose petals led the way to a draped chuppah, adorned with a spray arrangement of blush Esther roses, pink Senorita roses, Hot Eskimo roses, and white stock and hydrangea, set off with deep-green, Italian and Israeli ruskus.
The same types of flowers were used for the card table’s statement arrangement and the reception table centerpieces, and joined by airy football mums and dendrobium orchids.
Every wedding needs a little sparkle. Check out the Maid of Honor’s shimmering, blush gown, so lovely with matte pink bridesmaids’ dresses. Floating candles, set in glass flutes glimmering with gold, added shine to reception tablescapes. As evening fell at Glen Cove Mansion, the dance floor filled up and Violet lighting set the room aglow.
