Hannah + Tonni: Rustic Charm in the Hudson Highlands

 

Hannah and Tonni were married this past June before spectacular views of the Hudson River and Catskill mountains, at a sprawling countryside retreat in the Hudson Highlands. Hannah and Tonni spent a romantic getaway at a cabin in the Catskills early on in their courtship, after they met volunteering with Friendship Circle, an organization for kids with special needs in New York City.  It was at the very same cabin two years later, that Toni surprised Hannah by popping the question!

 

 

The ceremony took place beneath a marvelous wisteria archway with pops of peach, white, blush, and cream cascading down the front, adorned with lush woven greenery.  We love how these fresh blooms popped in the day and softened with the beautiful sunset come evening.

 

 

Hannah wore a classic trumpet Mark Zunino gown with a sweetheart neckline, and carried a romantic, rounded rose bouquet with white garden, peach campanella, light pink Majolica spray, and blush Mother of Pearl roses, accented with velvety Dusty Miller and tied with an antique satin ribbon.  Her bridesmaids glowed in blush and baby blue Jim Hjelm dresses, and carried complementary rose bouquets.

 

 

The reception featured unique, textured centerpieces in peach, blush, cream, and green, arranged between elegant tapered candles, gold votive candles, and in Mason jars with twine.  The sun setting behind a glorious skyline and swingin’ tunes by the Around Town Band made for one unforgettable celebration.
