Stefanie & Mike Celebrate With An Enchanted, Fun-Filled Reception
After exchanging vows, Stefanie and Mike welcomed guests to a stunning reception with décor capturing the magical ambiance of the evening. From the brilliant florals to the gorgeous dinnerware to the show-stopping cake, this was going to be a celebration no one would soon forget. Here, Stefanie shares the final chapter in her Real BB Wedding story.
Part 4: Reception, Guest Card Display and Centerpieces
The evening festivities commenced with cocktail hour. Guests mingled, enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres, and raised the first of many toasts to the newlyweds. Afterward, everyone returned to Gotham Hall’s Grand Ballroom where they were greeted with a card display made of two walls decorated with greenery and flowers. Stefanie and Mike enlisted Ceci New York to put a personal touch on all of their wedding stationery. “We loved collaborating with Pejy Kash to bring Stefanie and Mike’s classic and timeless vision for their invitations to life,” the luxury wedding invitation designer remarks. “When it comes to the day of accessories, we always love a floral, so when Pejy asked us to create something inspired by Bride & Blossom’s floral design for the day, we were in. We created beautiful floral tags using our signature Ceci Floral Watercolor, each had the guests name hand calligraphed. It was a perfect combination, and for us it’s all in the details!”
The enchanted garden setting of the ceremony continued in a breathtaking tablescape featuring dramatic florals in shades of burgundy, purple, lavender, soft peach, red, light blue, and white illuminated by warm candlelight. Some tables were topped with towering centerpieces that looked like blossoming fireworks on gold harlow stands while others displayed low and lush arrangements. Stefanie says, “I loved how the custom Lucite menus and floral dinnerware looked with our flowers.” Chargers by Ceci New York in collaboration with Nüage Designs added to the opulent scene.
Stefanie and Mike wanted this night to be remembered not only for the dazzling décor, but also for the fun-filled atmosphere. Café Wha kept the energy high as guests joined the newlyweds on a packed dance floor. The welcome display was transformed into a photo backdrop where everyone stopped by to get a picture under a glowing neon sign with the saying ‘Better Together.’ A live wedding painter was on site to capture Stefanie and Mike’s once-in-a-life event as a fine artwork.
And last, but certainly not least, the wedding cake. Drawing inspiration from the floral décor, cake designer extraordinaire Ron Ben-Israel created a 5-tier stunner adorned with vibrant sugar blooms.
Congratulations, Stefanie and Mike! Thank you for sharing your Real BB Wedding with us!
