Summer Romance: A Wedding at The Pierre Hotel
What a glamorous wedding executed by the talented wedding planner Erin Halley for our lovely couple! Taking place in a beautiful Manhattan Church and followed by a reception at The Pierre Hotel, the opportunity to design this wedding was a wonderful treat.
Facing Central Park in the Upper East Side Historic District, marvelous skyscraper-esque The Pierre Hotel is one of New York’s finest luxury accommodations. Designed by Schultze & Weaver, the hotel opened in 1930, and was later acquired by Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces of India.
The look and feel of this venue wed beautifully with the classic decor and floral arrangements selected by our couple. Featuring a palette of crisp white, lush purples, and soft cream, our couple’s creation made for a truly dazzling and sophisticated look that was perfect for this high-art-like hotel.
Setting a tone that was both romantic and classic, the bridesmaids wore soft black, which played off of amethyst and lavender-colored rose bouquets. Our bride was stunning in a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and full skirting that paired magnificently with her cream-colored vendela rose bouquet. The ceremony flowers at the Church were designed with a wide array of both bright and deep purples, whereas the reception centerpieces featured white orchids and more creamy roses. Furthermore, the Pierre Hotel was decked with the subtle lighting of three-piece candle arrangements of varying heights as a delightful complement to the centerpieces. Together the feel of the affair was an enchanting and graceful symphony of style
Congratulations to the happy couple and many thank-yous to the fine work of Fred Marcus Photography.
