Wedding Flower Details From The Rachael Ray Show

When we were invited to design wedding flowers for a segment on The Rachael Ray Show, we didn’t have much time. We also didn’t have input from the bride; the producers wanted to surprise her! We knew one thing: this bride deserved to have the best wedding flowers.

For a Valentine’s Day wedding, we couldn’t think of anything more classic and romantic than using shades of red and pink! Our collaborator, Genevieve Gorder, agreed the look should be lush and lovely and have a bit of modern twist.

To achieve this look, we couldn’t use just any old shade of red or pink… We carefully selected each color, making sure each shade complimented one another.

Carnations were simply amazing to work with, giving us the lush texture we needed, while the roses added a certain richness. To finish it off, we accented the archway with pink Gloriosa which really gave it a pop.

To tie it all together, we lined the aisle with red, pink and cream rose petals, creating a beautiful ombré effect.

Nothing made us happier then watching Rachel walk down the aisle in her beautiful gown, marrying her love! We were honored to be a part of their special day and the Rachel Ray Show!
