From finding a venue and dress to narrowing down a color scheme and décor style, most people haven’t had a second to consider which type of vessel will hold their wedding flowers.

When we first meet with clients in the Bride & Blossom showroom, one of the topics we go over is vases. By the time the rings were exchanged, it was clear to everyone that Yani and Divinity had put together the ultimate mixed tape of love songs for their ceremony. Yani looks back and says, “Finally, after the kiss, we exited into cocktail hour to ‘Is This Love’ by Bob Marley!” Here, she shares the final chapter in their Real BB Wedding Story.

Part 4: Card Table, Centerpieces, & Hanging Floral Dance Floor Installation

We always tell our couples not to overlook the card table – it’s the first thing guests see heading into the reception and helps set the tone for the rest of the wedding. Yani and Divinity completely ran with the idea in welcoming their family and friends. The traditional décor fixture took shape in a jaw-dropping tree made of wisteria and birch branches adorned with roses, ranunculus, camellia greenery, and moss. “We had heart-shaped origami place cards, inspired by our connection to Japan, suspended from the branches waiting for our guests,” Yani says.

Everyone’s commitment to stay present and the LOVE we felt during the ceremony as we read our vows was incredibly overwhelming.” Here, BB Featured Bride Yani talks about the couple’s intimately beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the Manhattan skyline.

As guests made their way to Liberty House’s picturesque gardens for the ceremony, they were welcomed with music being played by a 4-piece string quartet. With a painterly blue sky, the day couldn’t have been more perfect for saying “I Do.”

With the start of fall just days away, we have been reflecting on the summer wedding season. And when it comes to luxury bridal fashion, flowers, and venues, the famous brides who walked the aisle this past season ignited our hearts and imaginations. Their highly anticipated nuptials took place at a French château, London church, English cathedral, and exclusive Hawaiian hotel. While these weddings were spectacularly lavish in every way possible, they were also a beautiful expression of each bride’s unique style and personality.

Katharine McPhee and David Foster’s much-discussed courtship culminated with the couple exchanging vows at the Church of St. Yeghiche in South Kensington in late June. The Actress-singer wore a gorgeous custom Zac Posen dress featuring a ballgown silhouette, sweetheart neckline, and layer upon layer of striped tulle skirt. She accessorized with a dramatic cathedral veil and soft colored floral and greenery bouquet. The ceremony décor of lush, bright blooms created a striking contrast against the church’s ornate interior. For the post-ceremony celebrations, which took place at a private club, the bride changed into a silk cocktail dress, also by Zac Posen. Reception florals had a decadent, English garden feel with verdant greenery embellished with white and green roses and hydrangea.
