The beach is where it all began for Bride & Blossom. It was Founder Rachel Trimarco’s waterside nuptials that planted the seed, which would eventually grow into a luxury floral design & styling boutique. Rachel visualized the floral landscape for her own wedding. On the morning of, a-bride-to-be walked through the venue and liked the flowers so much that she requested contact information for the florist. That bride became Rachel’s first client.

In the past twelve years since then, the sense of joy and excitement felt as summer begins and weddings head to venues lined with sandy beaches and picturesque seascape views is just as strong. After a year and a half of pandemic lockdown that greatly impacted how we gather and celebrate lifetime events, we are especially looking forward to this upcoming season. In addition to the breathtaking setting, what makes beach venues in the New York City area so alluring is that they offer the look and feel of a destination wedding without all the added planning, stress, and expenses.

As COVID-19 forced Cara and Vince to reconsider their original vision, they found themselves putting together a day full of personal touches. “We wanted a more nontraditional ceremony,” the bride says. After meeting on Match.com, Cara and Vince had their first phone call. It was morning by the time they finally hung up and six hours had gone by without either of them noticing. They decided to get together in person two days later. Their connection was immediate and felt effortless from the very beginning. “I knew that I wanted to be with Vince from the moment that he looked at me through the front door on our first date,” she recalls.
