Caroline and Ben first met in 2015 when they both were working for a tech start-up in New York City. “Ben was my on-board buddy. He welcomed me to the company environment and my role within it,” Caroline remembers. They became fast friends, often going to lunch and happy hour together. “We were both in relationships at the time. Everything was work related, but there was always an underlying feeling that this could be more. Those romantic feelings were finally addressed that following summer.” Not yet on the same page of what they wanted in terms of a relationship, they dated on and off for the following six months. In an age where dating apps play instant matchmaker, their long, more traditional courtship comes across as refreshing. “Looking back, this period helped build the relationship that Ben and I have now,” Caroline says. “We had been colleagues, friends, then ‘more than friends.’ By the time we were ready to commit, we knew each other inside and out.”

Your parents, grandparents, and immediate family make up the VIP guests who deserve front row seats at your wedding. For this reason, designating the first and second rows (and third if needed) at your ceremony is important to avoid any confusion – no one wants to play an awkward game of musical chairs because they unknowingly sat where they shouldn’t have. Often groomsmen double as ushers and are on hand at large weddings, directing guests where to go as they arrive. But for weddings of any size, ‘reserved’ seating signs can be used to ensure your big day starts out flawlessly with everyone comfortably sitting down to the celebrations that are about to begin. From welcoming floral arrangements to personalized name tags, we rounded up beautiful ideas for assigning special seating at your wedding ceremony.

If binge watching Bridgerton during the pandemic taught us anything, it’s that in order to throw a fabulous social event that will have the town talking for weeks to come, you must go BIG on flowers. As wedding florists, we couldn’t help but be inspired by the lavish soirée scenes styled with decadent blossoms that looked whimsical and curated at the same time. There’s no denying the romantic charm dancing candlelight brings to the wedding tablescape.
