The process of finding a wedding dress isn’t always linear. You start with a clear picture of what you want to wear in mind and then make an appointment. After explaining your style to the bridal salon, you are presented a rack of choices they think you will like. But every time you step out of the fitting room and look in the mirror, the excitement you should be feeling just isn’t there. “I had tried on so many dresses I really thought that ‘the one’ was a myth,” Kristen remembers. Not to worry. Her “say yes to the dress” story does have a happy ending. Here, Kristen talks about how her wedding day look came together.

The scene in Capitale’s Grand Ballroom looked like a luxurious party from the Gilded Age of New York. But the excited mood was very of the moment and the event about to unfold was all about celebrating a modern day love. Here, our featured bride Claire shares the final chapter of her Real BB wedding story.

Part 4: Reception, Décor, and Special Moments

After taking their seats, guests waited for the newlyweds to make their party arrival through the venue’s downstairs doors. But Claire and James had bigger plans. She recalls, “No one expected us to make an entrance from the balcony catwalk! Part 4: Reception & Centerpieces

Ashley and Tiffany’s heartfelt ceremony was followed by an ultra-stylish reception. “Since the floral chandelier was high impact with lots of volume and texture, I wanted table décor to be clean and simple,” says Ashley. The tablescape featured mix and match arrangements that included petite centerpieces of lush roses, café au lait dahlias, hydrangeas, and Phalaenopsis orchids set in rectangular vases. Also on display were geometric glass terrariums, provided by the bride and filled with a layer of white sand and blush hued blossoms. Glowing votive candles brought intimate warmth to the presentation. “The play between lavish and minimalist décor elements created an atmosphere that was balanced, yet still very interesting,” said the bride.
